Associated Press (AP) is one of largest contributors of news and stories, wanted to get into the arena of College Football. They wanted to present all of the scores, news, highlights in a visually arresting site that rivaled other sports sites like ESPN. On this project, my role was visual design and worked closely with a design consultancy agency. Our main design approach was to make hero shots of the specific team as the wallpaper of their team page. In addition to aggregating scores and highlights, the site pulled from news stories and user generate content. Working in a team of 4 designers and 2 programmers at Shane & Peter (aka Modern Tribe), we created a robust site for AP College Football, the ultimate college football site for the true fan providing the best news, photos, scores and highlights.
