Hipmunk

CHALLENGE

Hipmunk, a travel site that helps consumers find cheap flights and deals on hotels, needed to generate a lot of buzz on social media sites and drive users to their site to find the best prices for their travels. They wanted to leverage Facebook, Nanomedia and co-branded partnerships to entice users to download their mobile app or find flights and hotels on their site.

SOLUTION

Each ad campaign had different strategies to increase app downloads or searches on their site. One was geo-centric that targeted 50 specific cities with unique city photos, maps and messaging. Another highlighted their “Last Minute” feature within their mobile app to drive late bookers to the site. Overall, I created 8 different campaigns, including mobile ads, ad buys on Facebook and Nanomedia, co-branded partnership programs and in-house ads.
